My visit with Mrs. Daniela was truly a pleasure. I’ve seen many different Physician Assistants over the years, and this was my first time meeting her. She took her time reviewing my history, labs, and current issues, and she explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. Daniela was great. I’ve been coming to this office for 6 years and the team is always professional and caring. Not sure why this time was different- but I waited about an hour before I was seen. Usually I’m in and out within 45 minutes. This time was a lot longer. An hour and 15. Disappointed in that aspect. Hopefully this was a one time incident.

Austin greeted my husband and me with his usual warm friendliness. He was concerned that my cold still persisted after nearly three weeks and questioned me carefully about my symptoms. He prescribed an antibiotic, blood test, and Xray, and he'll see me to follow up next week. His concern was that I not have pneumonia, and if my symptoms worsened that I go to the hospital.

Michelle goes out of her way to help me stay in the best of health possible. I really appreciate everything she does for me. I can't thank her enough!

Dr. Rowland listens well and gives good practical advice. I usually come in with a detailed written list of my issues and questions, and he considers them carefully. His staff (e.g., nurses, phlebotomist, reception desk, etc.) is also very good, and has become especially good recently (2026). The portal for getting information like test results and for sending messages to the providers is also very good.

Auston was wonderful, but I’m not happy that I can only see a nurse practitioner and not a doctor. Since the only doctor is a concierge doctor and the rest of the staff are all nurses I feel that if I have a problem I won’t be taken care of properly. I’m not happy that my yearly check up and blood work is taking care of by a nurse practitioner and not a medical doctor. I like the practice but I would like to know that I can see Dr. Rowland when needed.

All of the staff was attentive, patient and knowledgeable. The phlebotomist was terrific getting my difficult vein in the first try! As usual, Dr. Rowland was great!!

Other than the typical blood panels not much of an annual exam. I guess running a strip is no longer considered medically necessary.

This was my second visit to the office. The staff is great. This was my first visit with Austin. I normally see Daniella Olivera but she was busy was a little skeptical but seeing someone else, but he was a pleasure very knowledgeable for someone so young. Now I will have to split my visits between Daniella and Austin because they’re both great.

Get your notes ready if you have an issue,, she is smart and quick, if you want her to answer a question say so or she will stick to your basic new patient questions at bullet speed, if you can't keep up say so or bring help of you are not well enough to speak for yourself or keep up with the pace of the visit. They are a young progressive team, definitely capable of handling a normal variety of general patient issues or yearly visits, not chronic or serious issues that requires patient coordination of multiple complications or visits, but I could be wrong.

Everything went fine but I wish I didn’t have to make an appt every time I need a refill for zolpidem …. I’ve explained to dr many times I don’t sleep without it so what’s the big deal if I have a 5mg for only 30 days or a 10 mg that I break in half for 60 days saving me a trip to your office. Its just annoying

Bryanna Larose is very caring, knowledgeable and patient . She went over all of my lab results and explained everything to me. All of my questions were answered and took the time to ask if there was anything else she could assist with today. I am very confident in Dr. Rowland and his staff.

Our visit was on time . My problem was a little unusual , so he referred me to a specialist. I got a flu shot and we checked on all my prescriptions to ensure they are up to date.. I have been coming to Dr Rowland for over 20 years and all my experiences have been positive and professional.

“Caution: This practice required me to pay a copay for an exam that should have been covered under the yearly free checkup, without clear disclosure. Patients are generally seen only by nurse practitioners, unless they are on Medicare/Medicaid or part of the ‘concierge level’ plan. When I requested a copy of my medical records, I was told there is a $0.50 per page fee, which felt excessive and not patient-friendly. I even called to give them a chance to address these concerns before writing a review, but was left on hold indefinitely. Overall, Boca General & Family Medicine in Boca Raton appears to prioritize revenue over patient care.”

It’s great to go to an office that runs on time!! Unusual today. Dr. Rowland took his time with me, was very informative, made me feel very comfortable. I also like that I can get my blood drawn in the office. Makes everything so easy.

1. I was referred to a specialist - Z Urology - by Boca General & Family Medicine (BGFM) and I went in for an appointment approximately a couple of months ago. The specialist suggested some tests so we did them, as I was thinking it was part of the visit and covered under the cost of the visit. At no point did the urologist say the tests would not be covered by insurance or would result in significant additional charges. I later received a bill for about $700 from Z Urology. I do not understand why I was charged hundreds and hundreds of dollars for tests that should have been in-network. If there would be serious out of pocket costs of any kind, I should have been informed in ADVANCE by BOTH Z Urology AND BGFM. With Z Urology, BGFM seems to have referred me to a specialist that is not in-network. 2. A Nurse Practitioner nearly made me go on TRT - a lifelong treatment that would destroy my body's ability to ever produce testosterone again - based on one set of labs, and the NP did not even recommend HCG or other peptides (or SARMS) to preserve fertility - I do not think my NP even knows the first thing about TRT, so why in the world was I told I needed it, instead of saying, 'You might need it, I will refer you to an Endocrinologist to have them look into it'?? And the TRT clinic I was referred to has incorrect medical information on their website...which calls into question BGFM's judgment...and this was presented with a business card as an option, not a requirement, no official referral form. So is BGFM and/or my NP getting a kickback from them? A doctor should have been involved, and as stated, my NP does not seem to know the first thing about TRT (and did not mention the risks and how to mitigate them) but told me flat-out that I needed it. A new set of labs just came in showing that is not the case where all relevant hormone metrics more than doubled from the first set of labs…which is a bit hard to believe, so how can I even trust your lab work?? I should be given an appointment with Dr. Rowland to discuss everything that has happened, and I only wish to see a Doctor from this point forward if I return to BGFM. I will also be getting lab work done somewhere else and getting a second opinion.
